Diamond Peak Presents the Burton Jiblet Series
Incline Village, NV- The Burton Jiblet Series is a jam style competition for Intermediate/Advanced skiers and snowboarders of all ages to showcase their most awesome trick on our feature. There will be 3 competitions throughout the season with the Burton Invitational on April 3 and 4th for all participants who qualify. The first stop for the Burton Jiblet Series is on January 16th. The competition will take place on special features in front of the Base Lodge deck. The event is open to skiers and snowboarders of intermediate/advanced abilities and the divisions are as follows:
Skiers (Men/Women) Snowboarders (Men/Women)
11 and under 11 and under
12-16 yrs. old 12-16 yrs. old
Open Open
Special features will be made just for the Burton Jiblet. It’ll be a jam-style format with a winner-take-all cash prize for each of the Open divisions in the Burton Invitational. The price of the event is $10. All of the registration money goes into a winner-take-all pot. Here’s the schedule of events:
Stop #1 Saturday- January 16th, Stop #2- February 6th and Stop #3- March13
9:00-11:00 am- Registration in the base lodge
10:00-11:00 am- Practice
11:30-1:00 pm- Event
1:30-2pm- Awards Ceremony
You must participate in at least 2 stops to qualify for the Burton Invitational 2 day event. Top 5 skiers/riders in each division qualify.
Burton Invitational Saturday, April 3
9:00-11:00 am- Registration in the base lodge
10:00-11:00 am- Practice
11:30-1:00 pm- Event
Burton Invitational Sunday, April 4
10:00-11:00 am- Practice
11:30-1:00 pm- Event
1:30-2:00 pm- Awards Ceremony
